Letter Carriers Local 2902 Endorses Bryan Caforio

Santa Clarita, Calif. – Today, the National Association of Letter Carriers Local 2902 endorsed Bryan Caforio, Democratic candidate in California’s 25^th Congressional District. NALC Local 2902 covers the western region of the 25^th District. Caforio has also received endorsements from the Letter Carriers Local 2200 and Local 4430, which serve the Santa Clarita Valley and the Antelope Valley, respectively.

“Time and time again Steve Knight has shown through his votes that he’s more interested in helping huge corporations and his wealthiest donors than looking out for his community,” said Ray Hill, President of the Letter Carriers Local 2902. “We need a representative like Bryan Caforio who will stand up for the hardworking middle-class families in our District.”

More than a dozen labor unions, more than thirty local officials, and Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom have all endorsed Caforio. Polling shows Caforio already tied with Rep. Steve Knight.

The son of two public school teachers, Caforio was born and raised in Southern California, attended UCLA and Yale Law School, worked for a United States federal judge, and practices as an attorney taking on some of the world’s biggest banks and corporations. Bryan lives in Santa Clarita with his wife Lisa, who serves as a Deputy City Attorney at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
